A Tipping Point Through the Lens: Earth Day Through Photography

To honor Earth Day, we launched A Tipping Point Through the Lens, a special series celebrating photographers whose work invites us to see, feel, and reflect on our connection to the planet.
 
Alex Buisse ​opened the series with breathtaking images that capture nature’s wild beauty. From alpine adventures to quiet orchard moments, reminding us why these places matter.
 
Brandon Huttenlocher followed with vivid scenes of solitude, awe, and movement through landscapes that are as fragile as they are magnificent.
 
Melissa Kelsey closed the series with thoughtful reflections on our national parks, exploring the tension between preservation and tourism, and encouraging a deeper look at how we move through and impact the natural world.
 
These monthly series are more than just a celebration of our community’s creative talent, they’re a platform for the stories our photographers tell through their work. With each edition, we aim to spotlight projects that not only inspire visually but also raise awareness and support for the causes that matter to them.
 
Our Earth Day series is a powerful reminder that photography can spark conversation, foster connection, and move us toward greater understanding and care for the world around us.
