CEO Joe Naylor Leads the Panel on AI Equity at DMLA's 28th International Conference
We are thrilled to share that our CEO and DMLA’s Treasurer, Joe Naylor, played a pivotal role in the 28th International Digital Media Licensing Conference (Digital Media Licensing Association - DMLA), moderating the panel on "Tackling Bias in AI" with panelists: Tonia Osadebe, Mark Milstein, and Tiffany Gilron on October 23rd.
In a tech landscape where AI is revolutionizing every aspect of our industry, understanding and mitigating bias is not just important—it’s essential. This panel was a deep dive into understanding what concrete actions we can take to promote AI output that is diverse and reflective of our society at large and abating unconscious and conscious bias from undermining the progress we've collectively worked so hard to make over the years. One critical element - measuring the inputs of the AI models we are training.
Proud of our leadership and committed as ever to shaping a fair, unbiased future in AI and digital media. Let's keep the conversation going!
